Bucketlist Tours was created for travelers who want a deeper connection with Puerto Rico: a private experience thoughtfully designed around your group and personally guided from pickup to return by someone who knows the island not simply as a destination, but as home.
Personally Guided · One Private Group per Departure · Private Experiences Since 2018

Bucketlist Tours was founded in 2018 by Carlos Alexis, but the knowledge behind it began decades earlier, in a childhood spent discovering the island through family, road trips and the places his parents and grandparents introduced to him. That lifelong relationship became a company built on a simple belief: travelers should experience Puerto Rico with the comfort of a private journey and the personal connection of being guided by someone genuinely invested in what they discover.
The difference isn't the destination. It's the person revealing it.
You can reach Old San Juan, the waterfalls and the bays with many companies. Those destinations do not belong to Bucketlist, and simply reaching them is not what turns a day into a meaningful experience.
The difference is in the context you receive, the stories someone chooses to share, the details they know to point out and the questions they can answer, and in knowing when a place deserves twenty minutes and when the day calls for a different plan entirely.

When you reserve a Bucketlist experience, the person who researches and designs the journey is also the person who welcomes you, guides you and remains with you throughout the day. There is no handoff to an unknown guide, and no standardized script repeated the same way for one group after another.
Carlos personally guides experiences across Puerto Rico, combining historical context, local knowledge and years of hosting travelers of every age and ability. He has also spent more than eight years filming the island's bioluminescent waters, over 250 filmed experiences captured with professional, broadcast-grade equipment.
One private group per departure, with room for conversation, questions and a pace that follows your curiosity rather than a crowd.
Families, couples, seniors and non-swimmers each travel differently. The day adapts, with honest guidance on walking, terrain and water.
Weather, water conditions, transportation and pacing are considered before they ever become your concern.
The same person plans, guides and stays with you from pickup to farewell, so the attention stays where it belongs: on you.
Explore the fortifications of Old San Juan on one journey, follow mountain roads toward waterfalls and Taíno heritage on another, and end an evening beneath bioluminescent light. Together, they begin to reveal Puerto Rico.
Those places may be what first bring you here, but the experience becomes something more when you begin to understand the history, people, nature and stories connected to them. Choose the journey that speaks to you, or create a private experience around the Puerto Rico you came to discover.
